To My Lovely Uncle Jim,
Just remembering the sad day my Dad got the news that you had passed away.
Dad was coming back to Canada one month after you passed and I know he was so looking forward to seeing you again since you two hadn't seen each other since 1948. I remembering him sitting on the stairs and crying, something I had never seen before. I hope you are all together again somewhere in time.
This day reminds me of the lovely Maple Leaf brooch with my name on it that you gave to me when I was a baby, Thank You So Much, I Love You Uncle Jim, I wish I could have met you. All My Love, Your Niece, Susan xxxxx
